Our Ministries

Highland Nazarene Church has a very active group of teenagers/students. Our youth group is for students 7th - 12th grade. They meet Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 7:30 pm for a time of recreation (in the summer), then a Bible study/discussion that is relevant to their age group lead by Tiffany Greer. On Sunday morning there is a study from 9:30 - 10:30 am lead by Hailey Bucholz. The teens also have special activities such as:

• Celebrate Life (A time to use their gifts in sports, music, science, art, etc.)
• Winter Retreat
• ReMix (worship service, service projects, making new friends)
• Annual trip to Six Flags Great America
• Day at the beach
• Ice skating

Once every 4 years our teenagers have the opportunity to participate in NYC (Nazarene Youth Conference) with 7,000 other teens and youth leaders for worship with contemporary Christian bands, fellowship, service projects and unusual recreation activities. Our current teen group consists of 15 - 20 students.
